Two-thirds of all young people in Honduras do not have a job that provides them with a decent income. To change this, the project offers 750 young women and men courses in professions such as motorcycle mechanics, cosmetics and retail.
In all courses, the young people acquire not only technical skills but also social skills. After graduation, the project team helps them find a job or internship. A job exchange is set up and operated for this purpose.
At the same time, the young people learn to take on a role model role for their peers, to organise themselves in youth groups and to implement community projects.
