Many women living in the suburbs of the capital San Salvador work in duty-free production zones. For cost reasons, some factories outsource work to home-based workers. These women are under extreme work pressure and suffer from unfair contracts.

The project brings together women who do embroidery work at home. Many of them have struggled for years in isolation to achieve a minimum standard of living. The project supports them in networking and organising themselves to successfully demand their human and labour rights.
