Ganzheitliche Bildung stärkt Jugendliche nachhaltig
Domestic workers in Honduras generally do not receive employment contracts or social benefits, work up to 15 hours a day and are exposed to physical and psychological abuse.
The project improves the labour rights situation of domestic workers in the capital Tegucigalpa and in three surrounding departments. The women receive further training in their profession and learn about their labour rights.
At the same time, the project educates government decision-makers on the subject of labour rights and raises awareness among employers. A campaign with public events and radio broadcasts reaches numerous other domestic workers and encourages them to defend themselves against abuse.
