Ganzheitliche Bildung stärkt Jugendliche nachhaltig
More than half of the Salvadoran population is under 30 years of age, and almost half of young people between 16 and 18 have not completed their schooling. For many, emigration or joining criminal youth gangs are the only alternatives to unemployment.
The Vista Hermosa project offers around 800 marginalised young people a new perspective: they complete vocational training courses at the training centre or in a company. They also learn how to apply successfully for a job.
Networking with potential employers is another measure of the project that makes it easier for young people to enter working life.
